I have the latest version of Firefox. Some times when I open a web page I need, the browser automatically opens about 3 or 4 web pages. Finally, it stops at shopstockoff.com. On the way to that web site, it opens witchcraftcash.com. With the shopstockoff opened, I can't go to the web page *I OPENED* by pressing the previous button; it goes to the witchcraftcash for a moment and back again to the shopstockoff (when I press previous button). Please help...

Hi, sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Hey, I have AdwCleaner already and I have used it once after this problem..

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
