I want to try to refresh Firefox as I'm getting error message when I try to log on to aol from Firefox. The link to the refresh page isn't working. It also says to "go to about.support and click on the upper right side of page where there will be a refresh button. I don't know how to get to "about support". Many thanks.

about:support - needs the colon between the words

This article explains what you keep and what you lose with the Refresh feature: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.

You can access the support information page using any of these:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
  • (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
  • type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter (note: there's a colon between about and support, not a period)

Note that "about:" is a protocol to access special pages like http(s): to access a website and thus uses a colon.

What kind of issues do you have that you want the use the Refresh feature in Firefox?
