Since the lates up date I can't seend out emails

Never a problem but with the latest update to Thunderbird, unable to write or reply to an email

I do not know how the outgoing server is set up, and an update should not have affected anything in my out going mail

To check your account settings: At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button > Options > Account Settings.

An update does not change your account settings.
