how to turn off autosave
While composing new email messages, autosave creates a large number of drafts that I cannot eliminate. I want to turn off the autosave feature. I do not see a "tool" bar for this nor does preferences address this feature. Thank you for your assistance. Charles

This article shows you where to uncheck the autosave box. http://www.ihaveapc.com/2012/02/how-to-change-auto-save-interval-in-mozilla-thunderbird/ Since you are on a MAC you will be looking for Preferences instead of Options as the example shows.
