Certainly a tad faster, but a smallish blue bordered search box in the middle of a blank page doesn't really count as a major update, does it?
Got the email, inviting me to download this amazing update. Followed the prompts, read all the blurbs, expected to see some magic Subsequently downloaded and installed.... ...speed is slightly improved., but that's all! Click the icon on the desktop....big, almost blank page with a blue bordered search box running across the centre. Across the top, left hand corner, are the 'forward and back' arrows, a refresh circular arrow and a little house icon (does nothing!!). Top right side has a history thing and what looks like a small book (does nothing!!!).
Am I expecting too much?

Hello, this is the new about:home/about:newtab known as Activity Stream, click the cog for more options to display. The great part of the new updates come in the form of the redesign, speed improvements, and security!
Clicking the cog reveals...Search, Top sites, Highlights and Snippets.
What were you hoping I would find there?
Stuck with an almost blank page and a search box!!!
