The download page does not say which versions of Windows are supported. Please fix this!
On the download pages PLEASE show the supported Windows versions (e.g., XP SP3 32-bit, Vista SP2 32-bit & 64-bit, Win7 SP1 32-bit & 64-bit, etc.).
The lack of that information does not merely cause me to waste time and bandwidth w/ trial-and-error, it also prevents me from recommending FIrefox to clients, because I cannot tell whether it will work for them.
Please fix this!

Hello, the versions of Windows that are supported are:
Supported by the latest release (57.0.1):
- Windows 10
- Windows 8.1
- Windows 7 SP1
Supported by 52 ESR ONLY (Until May 2018):
- Windows Vista SP2
- Windows XP SP3
Please download the version for your machine, only download 32 bit if you have an i368 or x86 processor, you can check this by going to Start Menu >> System Information >> in there it will show x64 based PC or x86 based PC.

Thank you. Can you please put that info (plus the service packs required) on the download pages?
I'd love to, however:
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
But if that answered your question, you can still mark my previous reply as solution.

The Mozilla download page automatically supplies the correct version of Firefox for the operating system that is being used to view the downloads page.
But a problem can arise when someone downloads Firefox from a different computer than the one that it is to be installed on, they may end up with the "wrong version".
Sorry, I don't have a better answer for you. Beyond my "pay grade".
Feedback is the best way to let Mozilla how you feel about that.
On www.mozilla.org you get served current version of Firefox 52 ESR if you have a WinXP/Vista useragent and current Release stub installer if you have a Windows 7, 8, 10 useragent. The stub installer will check for things like 64-bit cpu, 64-bit Windows and at least 2GB RAM in order to install the Win64 version and not 32-bit version.
On www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ page there is links to System Requirements and Release notes.
