I changed my Gmail pop mail password now I can't sign on with Tbird. Tbird keeps asking for the password which I know I've typed correctly.
Running Tbird 52 on Windows 10 64-bit PC. Connect to Gmail using POP mail. Today I changed my Gmail password. When I accessed the popmail account through Tbird, Tbird asked for the new password, which I typed in. Tbird rejected the password with the message "Sending of password for user aj386devies@gmail.com did not succeed. Mail server pop.googlemail.com responded: Web login required: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78754". I don't want to use IMAP if at all possible.
