How do Containers/"Container Tabs" work?
What *is* a container/"container tab"? (Please be consistent with the nomenclature)
Do I open tabs within these containers? I just opened a container/"container tab" and did a search from the search bar: it opened a new tab that does not appear to be contained or related to the container/"container tab" in any way. Am I supposed to be able to move tabs into these Containers? Maybe not, because sometimes they are referred to as Container Tabs themselves. Is this the desired behavior, and if so, why?

How it works (from AMO): Firefox Multi-Account Containers lets you keep parts of your online life separated into color-coded tabs that preserve your privacy. Cookies are separated by container, allowing you to use the web with multiple identities or accounts simultaneously.

Thank you for your prompt reply!
I actually tried to RTFM on Containers/Container Tabs, but I admit I did not get to GitHub. Reading about the issues with moving a "contained tab" to a different Container is what helped me most to understand the concepts.
Thanks again, Doug®
Okay, I'm starting to see some of the complexity, which I think adds to the confusion about everything related to Containers.
It appears that there are two kinds of Containers:
- The first kind that was introduced - which is the default in my FF 58.0.
- Multi-Account Containers, which requires an addon by Mozilla addon by Mozilla.
I expect it will take some time and experience to understand best how to use this addition to Firefox.
Doug®
