Sometimes when clicking anything (content on any webpage, tabs and bookmarks in my browser) my mouse will drag whatever I wanted to click. I've tried multiple mouses including ones from family members which work fine for them, even bought a brand new one but I keep having this issue in Firefox.

That sounds like a driver issue. Does that mouse have driver for it?

No. First mouse I had the issue with was the Logitech M90, bought the Logitech B100 today. And like I said earlier, only have this issue with Firefox

This can happen if the mouse key is in pressed state or Firefox thinks that it is if this only happens in Firefox. If you have another mouse to try then check if it still happens.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
