The Restore Page appears each time a new tab is opened
The Restore Page appears at initial launch and then again each time a new tab (window) is opened. It is necessary to click on the Start New Session button which is very frustrating. I tried refreshing Foxfire with no success. I then started it in Safe Mode. This solved the problem but when I restored the add-ins, etc. it returned. It appears that one of the add-ins may be responsible for this behavior. Do you have any suggestions on how to further track the offending add-in or other attachment that may be the culprit?
Thanks

How are you opening new windows/tabs? For example:
- Ctrl+n => launch a new window
- Ctrl+t => launch a new tab in the current window
New windows usually show your home page. I don't know if you can set your home page to the session restore page, but it's worth a quick check or update: How to set the home page.

Hi,
make sure that in the Options you do not have enabled the Restore previous session option.
To do that:
- Click the menu button and choose Options.
- Select the General panel.
- Below Startup un-check the mark before Restore previous session (if it is checked).
- Close the about:preferences page.
Unfortunately that solution does not work. The Restore Previous Session is unchecked. Any further thoughts? Thanks

I seemed to have solved the problem but I am not completely sure why. The Remote Page issue went away after I logged into my Foxfire account. Subsequent Foxfire launches no longer have the first window being the Remote Page.
Thanks for you help and suggestions.
If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing the problem by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via one of these:
- "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
- Windows: File -> Exit
- Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
- Linux: File -> Quit
Norton Security and Malwarebytes do not appear as extensions under Add-ons/Extensions. Given that how do you suggest I perform your suggestion to disable & then re-enable each of them to see who is at fault. Right now Foxfire is starting normally and does not open a Restore window for any additional tabs so I don't know how to assess if there is any interaction.
