I would like to restrict which extensions can access data / run on which web sites. For instance I would like to restrict all extensions when I am using my bank's website, I would allow add blocking on all sites but I would not allow extensions that access my data on ebay, paypal, gmail, etc. Is there a way to do this per extension and per web site?

The only way is to manually disable those add-ons, or https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.

You can consider to use Private Browsing mode to access your bank site. You can restrict extensions to make them only work in normal mode and disable them in Private Browsing mode.

Thank you for the suggestion. I was going to configure Private Browsing mode to only allow add blocker and use that when browsing confidential sites but I was hoping that there was some way to configure access control per web site, maybe using another extension or some hidden configuration option.

It would be a setting in the extension to enable the extension only on selected websites and not all extensions support this. I would assume that content blocking extension support this.
