Hi

In Chrome on Android I can go into "Site settings" to mute all sites and then whitelist the ones I want to be able to play sound, but I can't find the equivalent settings page in Firefox. Can anyone point me to it please?

Thanks

Hi

We have a different set of controls in Firefox for Android. If you open the menu and select Settings and Advanced, under Media you can stop media (such as music and video) from autoplaying when you visit the page.

I hope this helps.

Hi

Thanks but I already have this turned off, however I don't want sites to make noise even when I play the media myself.

Thanks

Hi

You would need to reduce the volume on the Android device, I do not there is a way to do this in Firefox for Android.

OK that is unfortunate. I'd like to be able to watch a video on a website without it interrupting the music I am playing from another app. Thanks anyway.

No problem. We do look at new features like this and this could appear in a future update.
