browser control
On the preferences page (general) it show my browser is being managed by my organization (ImportEnterpriseRoots) but this is my personal computer which should not be connected to any organization. Please advise if this is message and organization name are a normal default or if this indicates a problem with my browser/computer.
Thank-you

hello
takedagk,
follow the steps and instruction.
type about:preferences on url bar press enter.
If you are using a testing or old version of Firefox, you may see following message on the page:
Your organization has disabled the ability to change some options.
Now you are worried who is managing your browser? Who has disabled or restricted you from changing Firefox options? Is your computer or web browser hacked?
It might be possible that you are using Firefox in a home PC or laptop and your computer is not connected to any network or not a part of any organization, then why this error message is showing in Firefox?
METHOD 2: Using Policies.JSON File
1) Open Firefox installation folder in your computer (the folder where Firefox files are located
such as "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" folder in Windows,
"Firefox.app/Contents/Resources/" in Mac and "firefox" directory in Linux which varies by distributions).
2) Now look for Distribution folder. This is the folder which contains policies.json file which applies policies in Firefox
.
3 ) If you find Distribution folder, delete it. You can also delete policies.json file only.
i hope resolved your problem then reply back to me,
Thank you and Reagrds,
Arman
A possible cause is security software that wants to add its root certificate to be able to monitor (intercept) secure connections, see:
In Firefox 63+ you can check the about:policies#active page to see whether policies are active.
You can inspect the Mozilla and Firefox keys with the Windows Registry Editor in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and possibly in HKEY_CURRENT_USER with the Windows Registry Editor to see whether GPO policy rules are active.
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox\
Note that the mere presence of the "Mozilla\Firefox\" key is sufficient to make Firefox display this notification, so if you have the Firefox key then remove it and only leave the Mozilla key or remove this key as well if it is empty.
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox\ =>
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\
