setting up posteo in thunderbird
I was trying to instal Posteo.net on thunderbird and I kept on getting an error message saying that i had put in the wrong password. I changed the password on Posteo and still got the same message. I reinstalled thunderbird and got the same. Originally it was alright because I managed to download some emails from Posteo but then things went wrong and I could no longer connect to it.

your anti virus / firewall is probably messing with the ability of Thunderbird to connect to the internet.
Hi, that was a good idea but I don't think that is it. I have a firewall controller called Little Snitch and I looked to see if it was blocking thunderbird but it said it wasn't and there didn't seem to be anything else causing a problem there.
