i use a xiaomi phone, install a a fein 84.1.0 version, and event i follow this article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-set-firefox-sync-firefox-android step by step, i still can't sync my information, but my ipad's firefox is work. it seem as android phone's account information is few year's ago(include password, bookmarks etc)
