I cant view an email from a particular vendor but I can in Gmail.
Can't read emails in inbox from a vendor but I can read them in Gmail. I can see the email in Thunderbird but when I click on it to read all I see is a blank screen. Even if I try to print I get a blank screen. I can read other vendor emails in Thunderbird just fine. When I go into Google Gmail I can read all mail just fine. So something is not allowing it to be read that vendors email in Thunderbird. Please help.

it may well be to do with the structure of the HTML it may even be that it is loaded using javascript on the fly and Thunderbird does not run scripts.
You might want to try toggling through the View > message body as menu options and see if it appears in simple HTML for instance or plain text.
And if that doesn't work? What else can I try. I even tried adding the address to my exceptions list. still nothing?
