Clearing Recent History
If someone like one of my grand kids clear the history they went on, is there a way that I can unclear the history so I can see what websites they were on?

I am not sure if the deletion of the browsing history would be accidental or intentional. But,
If you son is not too smart, you may be able to do a "restore" via the history section in menu bar.
Inside that section there is a "backup and restore" where you can try to restore the history he deleted.
On a side note, if you are successful with the above, delete the history in order to avoid suspicion.
By the way, browsers that are used in "private browsing" or "private window" mode will automatically delete the history.
There are free programs that can block computers from certain websites. Do an internet search.
