Thunderbird will not add mail server
On a fresh install I didn't add email account during setup process. Now whenI click on add mail account nothing happens. I can add SMTP server but thst's useless without IMAP.

Who is the mail provider for the account that has already been established on the provider's site? Accounts are added to TB from File/New/Existing Mail Account. Do you connect through a VPN?
I closed Thunderbird - that then displayed the add new email account window. When entered the account details - thunderbird then said the email account already existed. So I closed the add new email account window and reopened thunderbird. Now I can enter new accounts.
