WHY APP's Removed
file:/Desktop/Removed%20Apps.html On Thursday, November 25, 2021 9:02 AM my PC was refreshed, so says the Firefox icon that popped up on my screen, and I presume by FireFox because they removed about 25 Apps that I typically use.
1-How do I re-install them? 2- and why would they be removed?
thanks for assistance and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi Magnogreato, I've done some searching and found that "Removed Apps.html" is created by Windows when you refresh your PC. It contains a list of apps removed by Windows, not Firefox. If it has a Firefox icon, that is most likely because the file extension is HTML, and you have Windows set to open HTML files in Firefox.
You can find more information in the following Google search link: https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Removed+Apps.html%22

This is just html file, I doubt that Firefox has anything to do with it.
Did you use the refresh feature in Firefox as that creates a new profile ?
When the refresh feature in Firefox is used then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks and history, Form Data, tabs) is automatically imported. The current Firefox profile folder will be moved to an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop. Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you have made are lost and need to be redone.
I didn't refresh firefox and if I had, why would a browser remove computer apps???
also, this link......https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings implies that add-ons can be reset....if that's true, how would I reset them along with the APPS?
