moving to next picture gesture annoying
The sliding animation is gjetting in the Way of moving between pictures in google, the sliding animation resets to the previous picture instead of moving to the next one when i try swiping between pitcures way to often. Even when the next picture is covering half the screen or more. Using samsung S22.

This does not sound like an issue with Firefox for Android but is to-do with gesture navigation in Android.
I must admit that I sometimes find the same with gestures on same pages triggering the "back" action. Before you look to turn off gesture navigation in Android, I recommend that when you swipe the images on the page that you do so away from the edges on the screen.

maybe, but other browsers like Chrome or Samsung internet does not have this problem. on the other browsers i have to try for the problem to appear.
Swiping from the edge helps a tiny bit, but not enough.
