Thunderbird trash emptying

I cannot seem to empty trash folder in local folders and there are a lot of sub folders I can't delete

What icons do those sub folders have? Thunderbird will not delete say it's trash folder for an account and local folders is an account.

folder icons that when open I can delete but they are replicating to the extent of a sizable amount within the Local Folders Trash
