My instalation of Thunderbird does not send emails
See the screen shots attached.
I have checked with Dodo, they have tried a number of variations, but NO emails will go.
It must be a problem with Thunderbird, they say.
Can you help.

My first suggestion is to include your full email address in both places. That is, include the @ and domain name
Try these settings:
incoming POP server: mail.bigpond.com on 995, SSL/TLS, normal password authentication, User Name = email address
outgoing smtp server: mail.bigpond.com on 465, SSL/TLS, normal password authentication, User Name = email address
