Hi, ubuntu 22.04 thunderbird 115.5.0 (64-bit), firefox firefox-120.0.r20231129155202-x86_64.AppImage. Just replaced snap-firefox with appimage and now links in emails don't work. New firefox window opens but no url is loaded. I would expect the link would open in a new tab in the already open firefox. New firefox picked up all the old config files after a bit of editing.

I should mention that I have made sure that firefox is the default browser and have searched the web for an answer. To many of the posts are from earlier versions and their suggestions point to options that no longer are available in both FF and TB. Rebooted the system several times after making changes to the apps.
