"Matt: This is all off topic, so to save me having to read anymore of it, I am locking this off topic item."

Your solutions do not fix the problem. I should not have to be a CSS coder to get previously used functions back.

Just because it is easy for you, does not mean it is easy for everybody.

Put Menu Bar back at the top.

Put Sort/Threads back in the latest version.

Provide a way to globally set the Sort Threads .

Let the power users select these restrictive features and let the rest of us keep the old functions.

Your posts are annoying. Why? Because they are off topic. What is off topic? Any post that is NOT seeking help in using Thunderbird as it exists. We are volunteers here to assist in using Thunderbird, not in developing new features or fixing features. There are developers for that and there are other forums for that. Yes, it would be nice to have the menu bar on top. Yes, it would be nice to have a global reset to threading. Yes, it would be nice to not need CSS for some custom features. But that is what is there. Telling us is wasting everyone's time. Public input is always welcome, but please use the proper forum. Try this one: https://connect.mozilla.org/
