I have maintained important tabs on firefox ios for several years. It has done well to remember my session/tabs during updates, crashes etc. I have sync set up and just hit "sync now" before updating to the latest ios version. First time ever my session is totally reset and all tabs are gone. Please tell me there is a way to restore my session from before the update, I will never get some of those links back. As I said I hit "sync now" and made sure it was current, but my understanding is that just updates my access to the session that is currently on my desktop from my phone. Can I get on my desktop and find the phone session that I syncd before updating? Can support find a previous session somewhere?

I have a backup folder of my iOS from a few weeks ago, having used the "Apple Device Installer" windows app to back it up. I cannot restore the phone to that backup because the "Apple Device Installer" windows app is malfunctioning and cannot see the file, I believe because I have moved the location of the app across drives. However, I can apparently see the Firefox data frozen on that phone backup file using an iphone backup extractor (see image.) Could there be a firefox session file somewhere in there I could restore from (is sessionstore .json, etc. saved in whatever firefox app data an iOS backup saves?)

Update: found a way to restore my iphone to the backed-up version with the older firefox edition and after re-downloading the app my session from that backup was restored, all tabs normal and private browsing are there. After desyncing and resyncing several times I was able to get my normal browsing tabs to show up on my desktop firefox session. I now only need a way to export my entire list of open private tabs, as I am now learning private tabs cannot be sync'd. If there is a way to access a json, db or other file created by iOS firefox, so that I can compile all the URLs in my private tabs, please notify.
