From Tools Menu I can display the Add-ons window with the Extensions panel displayed, and it is populated correctly. But when I click anywhere on the window, it disappears. This happens every time. I have completely removed FF 3.6.3 and re-installed, and it stills happens.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== I noticed it a few days ago when one of the add-ons was automatically updated.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

If not, see this: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/troubleshooting+extensions+and+theme...

I started FF in safe-mode as suggested and the "Add-on" window still disappears when I click on it.

With respect to a more serious problem I was having with my computer (phishing screens), I have been in contact with McAfee technicians over the past several days. They did fix my "phish" problem a couple of days ago, but over the past two days, they have rechecked my machine and removed some additional viruses, one of which must have been affected the "Add-ons" issue I described above. In any event the "Add-ons" display seems to work correctly now. Thank you to everyone here for their assistance.
