Cannot save or download anything since upgrade to 3.6.6.
Cannot save or download anything since upgrading to 3.6.6. My other 3 browsers still work as usual and I have not changed anything in my setup -- just the upgrade. Anti virus settings have not changed.
This happened
Every time Firefox opened

Same problem. Deleted all previous profiles, Firefox folder from Program Files. Installed new Firefox 3.6.6. Save Page As... or any other try to download link just make Firefox Not Responding with waiting hourglass. Reversed to 3.6.3, no problems at all.
Same exact problem here on my XP box.
Firefox 3.6.4, 3.6.6 and now 3.6.7 have the same problem: Save Page or Link not working after clean installation of the above versions or even with Firefox in Safe Mode: Firefox Not Responding. Last version working normally is 3.6.3.
Is Mozilla checking this Forum? Should we drop using Firefox?

Firefox 3.6.8 same problem: download window does not open for links or pages. Also, clicking on Tools -> Options is making Firefox not responding.
I was having the same issue and decided to check out the support section. Found this:

Resetting the Download folder ended up working for me. Give it a try.
