When we log on to Firefox, we get this in a large pop-up; we also get something about updating plug-ins. Does this signify some serious problem or virus? How do I get this to stop popping up?

Check the date and time in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar. See Secure connection failed and Firefox did not connect
