My wife was using the computer on line. A McAffee message came on that said something about a program wanted access to Firefox, she chose to allow it. It seems that it was after this that our connection to Firefox stopped working. I did scan my computer and it came out clean. But now we cannot connect ot Firefox. Even after uninstalling Firefox and then reinstalling it

Can anyone help?

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.
