I set my connection to no proxies or automatic and it keeps changing to a specific one and I cannot then commnect to sites until I change it again
I try to connect to any website. It will then show not able to connect error message. I go to Internet options and Settings to Connect to Internet. It will show that my settings for proxy have changed without my doing anything. I change to No Proxy or Automatic Detect Settings. Go back and I can connect to sites. Within a few minutes the same scenario repeats itself. Help

You can find the Firefox connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

Hi If you have Firefox 4 I fixed the problem, disable Fireshot in your Add Ons. If you dont have Fireshot it will be one of your other Add Ons, just disable one at a time and close firefox and reopen until you find out which Add On is doing it
Make sure you turn it to your preferred settings "EG: no Proxie" each time before you shut Firefox down.
