Why are the animated Gifs in Firefox 4 moving so slow and choppy?
When ever I try and look at an animated gif in firefox 4, well, it's just slow and choppy. I google searched and haven't found and remedies to the situation.

same here, infact my firefox browser has been freezing up a lot in general as well. Its getting realy annoying, i miss looking at animated gifs, i mean i even tried reformating my computer but nothing seems to change it.
Try to disable hardware acceleration.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
