I have tried Firefox 4, and it crushes everytime I close it, I agree it is faster, but the rest of my PC is much slower. It is also very greedy in terms of resources, and often crushes when I have several tabs open. I'm back to the older version of FF (3.6.17); I'm currently using WinXP. Will there be a lighter version of FF4 for XP users? Thank you.

No, Firefox 4 is finished. Other than security updates that's all there is of Firefox 4. Firefox 5 is slated for a June release.

I'm having no such problems with WinXP on an AMD64 2.2GHz processor with 2GB RAM. How does your hardware measure up?
