many problem some I cause trying to fix main problem of Show All Bookmarks has only history and no bookmarks
I was going to change some of the order of some bookmarks and used show all bookmarks and bookmarks said empty but all bookmarks are on toolbar and pulldown bar (now with another problem that if I get able to organize bookmarks It now has 3 times too many bookmarks there all the same)I think i cause it as I used an imported from my macbook

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
got rid of all the .sqlite that were in the folder and restarted firefox and still the same problem
