how do i get rid of tabs on firefox 5?
I hate the new option of open in tabs before windows. tabs don't work with exposé, hate them either way. how do i get rid of them.
Please help.

You want to revert to the old menu order of the Open in a new Tab & Open in a new Window?

You need the Add-on Compatibility Reporter extension to be installed before you try to install the latest version of Tab Killer - it hasn't been updated for Firefox 5.0 yet.
Download Tab Killer from here:

Click on - Download Latest Version (via HTTPS, GitHub) / - then "allow" at the top of the window on the yellow bar that will appear.
Ver.2.0.2009110201 is what should get installed.
Can anyone confirm that this lets Tab Killer v2.0.2009110201 work with FF5?
