when viewing my outlook emails in firefox, when I click on a link the new webpage is opened in internet explorer not in firefox

Giải pháp được chọn

Please do the following.

  1. Open Internet Explorer, click Tools | Internet Options.

  2. In the Programs tab, remove the checkmark where it says "Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default browser.

  3. Click Apply/OK and then close it.

  4. Start Firefox and then click the orange Firefox button, then go to Options | Options | Advanced.

  5. In the General menu, System Defaults at the bottom, checkmark the option: "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup", then click the "Check Now" button.

  6. Click OK and then close Firefox.

I'd recommend you upgrade to Firefox 5.0.1 since the version you're running at the moment is vulnerable to attack. See this security advisory: http://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox.html

Download from here: Download Firefox 5.0.1

Thank you - that has solved the problem - links simply open in a new tab in firefox. Marvellous.
