My TouchPad recently stopped scrolling in Firefox (6.0.2). I can't pin it to a specific update, but I may have missed that correlation. The scroll function works everywhere else, including in IE. Weirdly, it does work on one website (www.trainingweb.cogmed.com) but you need a password to enter. Otherwise, when I try to scroll, I see the little scrolling box but the page doesn't move which means I'm stuck using the little arrows in the page corners. Prior help forum responses suggested updating the TouchPad driver--Toshiba did not have a newer version than I already had, but I did download and replace it anyway in case it was corrupted. No luck. Totally aggravated.

Other specs: Toshiba laptop, Windows 7 Home Premium SP1

exactly the same problem here - after 6.0.2. the touchpad scrolling stoped working. Using Toshiba Portege R700 w/ Win 7 enterprise (32bit).

I do remember similar incident while using Lenovo ThinkPad X61 - new version of FF came out and I ended up updating Lenovo driver for trackpoint device...

My guestimate why the site you mentioned (cogmed.com) works is that it's a flash app and perhaps it (flash plugin) can still read your input from touchpad whilst FF can not.

Anyway, I am bit annoyed that these kind of situations occur with FF - my touchpad worked fine with 6.0.1 - why mess with a working code? ;)
