Firefox crashes
Every time I try to download any file in Firefox, it crashes. I have followed the crash checklist in Firefox help, ensuring my software is up to date for both Firefox and Apple. As well, I updated Adobe Flash. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Based on the "More system details" you posted, I found the crash report at http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/300c7531-ca82-4f3a-bdb5-d94012110924 which shows:
Firefox 6.0.2 Crash Report [@ strlen | std::string::assign(char const*) ]
ID: 300c7531-ca82-4f3a-bdb5-d94012110924
Signature: strlen | std::string::assign(char const*)
There is no bug report indicated but comments from others with that crash signature also mention crashes when downloading files. If the article Firefox crashes when downloading files isn't helpful, can you post some links to file downloads that are causing Firefox to crash?

Do you have any anti-virus software running on your Mac that might be causing it?
What is the current location where files are downloaded on your computer?
