I have used Firefox for years Have Mac OS10.5.8. Several days ago Firefox quit responding. After several attempts to use I decided to reload although would lose my history and bookmarks, Ugh. Then you site says it does not support my OS but lists it. What should I do?

Firefox 3.5 is old and outdated, you didnot recieve valuable update, security patch etc, please upgrade your browser to Firefox 7

Actually it probably it may be a later version Anyway the Foxfire homepage will not let me download; it says it does not support my OS. Thanks for your advice.
