Browser has been hijacked by searchqu.com. Firefox will not open at all. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, but I keep getting a message: Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections. Any suggestions?
Firefox will not launch. I don't believe this is a problem with Firefox so much as a program/virus that is preventing Firefox from launching. It also blocks attempts to change my home page.

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.
