How do I prevent updates?
For the third day, Firefox updates before starting and then won't start. I restore my Firefox folder with Acronis, then use Internet Explorer to get back into Firefox, my 8.01.4341. I have unchecked all automatic updates. How do I stop the updates???

Check and tell if its working.
