When I try to log on to my bank, the bank recognizes the user id but the password the bank sees is not correct. I went through the process with a tech at the bank watching at their end. (cap lock, num lock and password carefully checked) When I switched to Chrome browser no problem logging on. This just started a few days ago. Any ideas?

Today I tried Firefox again and the bank login worked. I only had trouble with my bank recognizing the password (that I very carefully typed). Other sites such as Hotmail had no trouble recognizing my password. I worked with the bank tech guy and tried to log on with him watching at his end. I even reset the password a couple of times. What he saw was the correct user name but incorrect password. He claimed no knowledge of any such issues with the bank software. When I switched to Chrome browser I had no trouble logging in. The problem is solved for now. But what happened?
