Google maps, place pointer icon won't show up with Firefox 10.0.2 and 11.
Its a real problem specially when you are looking for places. Please fix, I had to go back to internet explorer.

Have you checked to see if all your plugins are up to date?

That could cause the issue that you describe. It can be especially difficult if you are the office and they don't allow you to update the plugins your self.
