I can access the below site with other web browsers, however, Firefox will not let me access it nor can I add an exception so that it will access it. If I can't access the web site, I have no reason to use Firefox at all. Can someone please help???

If you can't add an exception, but get a pop-up with the error message then you can check the pref browser.xul.error_pages.enabled on the about:config page and make sure that the value is set to the true (default).

You can retrieve the certificate and check who issued the certificate.

  • Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"

Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".

  • Click the "View..." button to inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer.

Only leave the mark in the box at the bottom to "Permanently store this exception" if you trust that certificate.

  • Click "Confirm Security Exception" to enter the site if you still want to go to that website.

The www.zeekrewards.com server doesn't send a required intermediate certificate.

You can inspect the certificate chain via a site like this:

Visiting this Go Daddy website should be sufficient to let Firefox save that intermediate certificate and afterward the zeekrewards site should load without problems.

You should see the "Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority" intermediate certificate under "The Go Daddy Group, Inc":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption: Certificates > View Certificates : Authorities

(edited to add missing link to the Go Daddy site)

You don't need an exception if that is what you did.

I seem to have left out the Go Daddy site the I intended to include.

You can remove the exception if you created one.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced : Encryption: Certificates - View Certificates > Servers
