If you uninstall and reinstall Quicktime, does that help? Click Start, then Control Panel. Find your Programs and Features icon (it may be labeled "uninstall a program" or something similar) and then uninstall Quicktime.Then go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/, download and install Quicktime.
If that still doesn't work, start Firefox up in Safe Mode, and see if that makes any difference. Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
