FF 13.0.1 and Flash 11.3 annoyances
Here are some annoyances I've found with Flash Player 11.3 on Firefox 13.0.1.
-if a page loading in the background is loading flash for the first time, it will steal focus when the two flash processes are launching
-on youtube, once using the player controls, it becomes extremely difficult to browse the rest of the page. flash player has always had this problem in firefox, but now it's much worse. clicking on a non-flash area of the page doesn't restore keyboard webpage controls, unless i interact with a javascript element such as showing/hiding descriptions
-flash vids "tear" when scrolling. i do mention that i have smooth scrolling active. the drawing of the player is incomplete and sometimes the top or bottom of the vid will have a "duplicate" of what's above or below the player, and that gets cleared away only after re-scrolling or if the vid draws over it

Does wmode=opaque (or transparent) have any effect?
It appears to lessen the occurrence of flash tearing by quite an amount, though not fix it completely. But it remains true that once by accident pressing say, space inside flash player, you can't return to keyboard controlling the rest of the page until you click a js element. I've found some vid sites which dont have any clickable elements, and where I have to literally reload the page to regain control.
I never understood why firefox has always been the only oddball which stole controls when using flash in the first place...
The player also continues to steal focus on launch.
I have the EXACT same issues!
Flash is choppy AND constantly steals focus now. I can't scroll on YouTube if I play a video unless I select the address bar twice?! And it tears. :(
I'm going to update to the newest one (I'm on ...257, but ....262 is out). If not, I'm going to downgrade to 10.2 (http://mzl.la/LA0mpi).
Will update. Currently on 11.3.300.257.

Bah, found some info that .262 didn't fix all the issues.
Instead, I just updated to 10.3 or 10.2; whichever one is in the link above (remove the extra parentheses...). BUT NOW IT IS FIXED! :D
I had no FF problems for so long! :( Thank goodness for easy fix.
