I'm facing a unique problem with Adobe Flash. My firefox works ok as long as I don't update the flash beyond version - 11_2r202_235. When I update to any of the further releases, firefox works like - freeze for 5-10 sec, work for 2 sec, again freeze for 5-10 sec and so on...!!!

I tried multiple future releases but it doesn't work. Now with many websites (even Youtube!) asking to update the flash I'm kinda stuck. I'm addicted to firefox (have been using since ages!) so don't really want to switch to a different browser. Any help to fix is much appreciated.

P.S. I'm on Firefox 20.0.1

Hi,

Sorry I could not respond to your help posts as was traveling. I did try updating firefox (I'm on ver 21 now!) & installed beta version (11.8) but still facing the same issue.

Then I uninstalled the beta & reinstalled the version - 11_2r202_235 & voila... problem gone. But still whenever I go to Youtube & stuff, it shows flash update message. I don't know whats going wrong here! Any suggestions?
