CenturyLink is my ISP, and I don't know if the problem is with them or with you, or if I have a problem with Amazon.com prime videos. Maybe it's with all three! I don't know if the problems are related to each other, but I can't get the news video clips to come in and stay in. They take a very long time to load in, and then they stop after just a few seconds--before the clip is finished. Sometimes they start again, and sometimes they don't. The pages are also very slow to load in, and changing over from my home page to my email is very slow--everything is very slow. The Amazon Prime videos often stop for several seconds, and then play again for a while, and stop again. Sometimes I can play an entire movie with no interruptions, but not very often. Sometimes the interruptions don't occur until within about the last 10 minutes of the movie--which is particularly aggravating, then. I tried contacting Amazon tech help, and they thought I might have a problem with Microsoft's Silverlight. I don't think that's the entire answer, though, as the loading of anything (video or not) is extremely slow most of the time. Do I need to start by taking out Firefox and then reloading it, or do I need to start by taking out Silverlight and reloading that? Do I need to resort to having someone come in and take a look at my computer? Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you.
