At start-up, 2 tabs come up. A home page and another one. I just want the homepage--no extra one. I still want to be able to open tabs, just not have this one that comes up automatically that isn't my homepage. Can you help?

This issue can be caused by the MySearchDial extension.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
