Firefox does nothing when I tap a website link (many websites do this).
(Sorry if this is a re-post...) When I try to use this website (for example) https://online.westpac.com.au/esis/Login/SrvPage clicking the onscreen keyboard buttons gets no response past the first button press, unless I zoom in and out. I'd be grateful for a bug fix for this, or a better workaround than zooming. :-) Many thanks, Roger V.

HI Roger, I tried the link which you provided in the question with Samsung Galaxy S2.

Tried to Zoom IN two ways,
- Double Tap
- Using Two fingers to expand the webpage.
Still, if its not working. Try to reinstall the firefox

Hi Jay, Thanks for your suggestions (and the email). :-) I tried clearing the cache and cookies & active logins, but this made no difference to the problem, unfortunately. And I am aware of the double tap to zoom in and out; I use it frequently. I think this might be a bug with Fennec, as Firefox 27 (downloading update to 28 as I type :-) ) for Windows handles this banking website quite well. Kind regards, Roger V.

Thanks for your suggestion; it doesn't matter how I zoom, but unless I zoom, pan or turn the phone sideways and back again, the button presses don't appear to register. Perhaps they're happening in the background, but not being "written" to the screen? Anyway, as per your suggestion, I've filed this as a bug (986961) and Aaron Train has responded already. I think I've already tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox 28, and I've also uninstalled the add-ons I was using (Quit Now and Roboform) and that made no difference either. I will try the Firefox Beta to see what happens with that. Thanks for your help. :-) (Edit: I've just tried Firefox Beta, and the banking website worked. But what's really strange: I tried Firefox 28, and that worked too, whereas before, it definitely didn't. Odd... I'll keep using the Beta so I can give feedback on it.)

Hi Curtis, While the problem has gone away, I'm not sure why installing the Firefox Beta version would have solved it. But, as it seems like the problem is now absent, I'm grateful to Jay for his suggestion. Thanks for your help, Roger. :-)
Welcome Roger :)
