Firefox should open with the size of the window that you last closed it with.
This setting is stored in the localstore.rdf file, so you can check for issues with this file if the is not the case.

What are the screen dimensions if you open the localstore.rdf file in a text editor (e.g. Notepad) and search for browser.xul#main-window?

  • chrome://browser/content/browser.xul#main-window

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Director: Show Folder (Linux: Open Director; Mac: Show in Finder)

didn't see anything about dimensions.

BTW~If I'm in Firefox, why does 90% refer to chrome?

You can simply use F11 to open it in Full Screen mode.
